100% Repurposed Cotton, Washable
- The small version of our classic throws, kantha minis are six layers of muslin sari cloth, hand-quilted together by women in Bangladesh using a traditional, kantha stitch.
- Made of 100% reclaimed cotton sari cloth.
- This blanket took about 12 hours to create by hand.
- Handcrafted by women who are survivors of (or vulnerable to) exploitation, now employed in work that brings dignity & livelihood. A beautiful redemption story, sewn into every stitch.
- Note: This mini arrived as part of a rare little set — a few blankets all made from the same sari, sharing the same colors and story. Each was cut a little differently, so what arrives may vary slightly from the photo.

We may have up to 4 blankets in each style (from the same match of 2 saris).
Photos are an accurate representation of the cloth & colours, but each of the 4 blankets will feature unique variations.
Care
Because of their quality, our kantha quilts get better with time, softening with every wash. They're fully machine washable in cold water on a gentle cycle.
Hang dry or tumble on low to help them last.
For small spills, spot clean and save full washing for when it really needs it.

We're a family-run shop, and every order is packed with love and shipped out daily. Across the US, it's a flat rate of $6 to ship a Mini kantha.
