This vintage kantha is among the most substantial pieces we carry. Stitched slowly by hand in the traditional style of northern Bengal, it has a depth, weight, and presence that changes the feel of the bed entirely.

Made from layers of repurposed sari, the dense stitching and rich variation in color and pattern give it a sense of movement and character that can't be replicated. No two are ever alike.

Designed for a full bed or to layer across a couch, offering a relaxed drape with shorter drop along the sides. On larger beds, it layers beautifully across the foot.

Handcrafted by a woman in rural Bangladesh, she works for several hours each day and completes a piece like this over the course of about two months. This kind of work allows her to stay in her home community while earning steady income through her skill.
