Our small kantha blankets are approximately 3’4” x 3’.4” (40 inches or 1 meter square).
This is half the size of our long, classic throws; a quarter of the size of our large throws.
Yes! All of our cotton kantha quilts are 100% washable.
Feel free to toss a kantha mini into the washer & dryer without fear that it will warp. We recommend a cold, gentle cycle, and hang drying or gentle tumble in a dryer; this will just help extend the life of the handmade blanket.
Every single blanket is hand-stitched and is one-of-a-kind in stitching, thread color, as well as patches & quirks. For every product style (the pair of matched saris for the two sides of the blanket), we can make up to 4 individual, mini kantha blankets.
One long stretch of sari cloth is about 4x longer than our kantha mini blankets (14 feet or 4 metres). A pair of those saris are matched, and those will be the outer layers of the kantha (one on each side). Because the sari itself has variations in pattern, with special features, each kantha mini will be a bit different.
We photograph one mini, but there may be up to 4 blankets in that style, each unique. If you purchase a kantha mini, the one you receive may be identical (the one we photographed), or one of its twins — same cloth match, with slight variations.

Mini kantha blankets are folded nicely and each one includes a postcard with both the story of the dignify blanket, and the washing/care instructions.
They are set and suitable to send directly as a gift! There is no invoice or receipt included for domestic (USA & Canada) orders.
