Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how www.shopdignify.com (the "Site" or "we") collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you visit or make a purchase from the Site.
dignify is operated by Flourish Together LLC.

Personal Information We Collect

When you visit the Site, we collect certain information about your device, your interaction with the Site, and information necessary to process your purchases. We may also collect additional information if you contact us for customer support. In this Privacy Policy, we refer to any information about an identifiable individual as "personal information."

Do We Sell or Share Personal Information?

We do not sell personal information for money. Some state privacy laws define "sale" or "share" broadly enough to include certain kinds of interest-based advertising, including how we use the Meta pixel described below. In the spirit of transparency, we treat that activity as a "share" under these laws, and we make it easy to opt out using the options listed in the Behavioral Advertising section below.

Minors

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the address below to request deletion.

Sharing Personal Information

We share personal information with service providers to help us run the Site and fulfill our contracts with you:

  • Shopify powers our online store and processes payments and order data. See Shopify's privacy policy: https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy
  • Klaviyo sends our marketing and transactional emails and stores subscriber data for that purpose.
  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram) helps us run and measure advertising, using a tracking pixel and Meta's Conversions API (server-side tracking).
  • Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors use the Site. You can read more about how Google uses your information: https://policies.google.com/privacy, and opt out here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
  • We may also share personal information to comply with applicable laws, respond to a lawful request for information, or protect our rights.

Behavioral Advertising

We use personal information to show you ads and marketing we believe may interest you. Specifically:

  • We use a Meta pixel and Meta's Conversions API (server-side tracking) to understand how you interact with our ads and to show you relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram. Learn more and manage your ad preferences: https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=ads
  • We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site. You can opt out here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
  • We use Klaviyo to send targeted email marketing based on your browsing and purchase activity, where you've provided your email and opted in.

For more on how targeted advertising works, see the Network Advertising Initiative: https://www.networkadvertising.org/understanding-online-advertising/how-does-it-work
You can opt out of targeted advertising by:

  • Adjusting your Meta ad preferences: https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=ads
  • Visiting the Digital Advertising Alliance's opt-out portal: https://optout.aboutads.info/
  • Unsubscribing from our marketing emails using the link in any email we send you

Using Personal Information

We use personal information to provide our services: offering products for sale, processing payments, shipping and fulfilling orders, and keeping you informed about new products and offers where you've opted in.

Lawful Basis (EEA/UK Residents)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, we process your personal information under the following lawful bases, as applicable:

  • Your consent
  • Performance of our contract with you (e.g., fulfilling your order)
  • Compliance with our legal obligations
  • Our legitimate interests, which do not override your fundamental rights and freedoms

International Data Transfers

We ship to and market toward customers in the EU and UK. Your personal information may be processed and stored in the United States and Canada, outside of the EEA/UK. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers, including through our processor Shopify. See Shopify's GDPR information: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/your-account/privacy/GDPR

Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including for our records after you place an order, unless you ask us to erase it. See "Your Rights" below.

Automated Decision-Making

We do not engage in automated decision-making that has a legal or similarly significant effect on you. Our processor Shopify uses limited automated tools to help prevent fraud (for example, temporarily flagging IP addresses or cards associated with repeated failed transactions). This does not have a legal or similarly significant effect on you.

Your Rights

If you are in the EEA or UK (GDPR): you have the right to access, correct, update, erase, or port the personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Contact us using the details below to exercise these rights.

If you are a US resident: depending on your state, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising or the "sale" or "sharing" of your information, including through appeal of a denied request. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Cookies

A cookie is a small amount of information downloaded to your device when you visit the Site. We use functional, performance, advertising, and analytics cookies to run and improve the Site, most of which are managed by Shopify. See Shopify's current cookie list: https://www.shopify.com/legal/cookies

Session cookies last until you close your browser; persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them (most of ours expire between 30 minutes and two years).

You can control cookies through your browser settings, though blocking them may affect how the Site works. Because there is no consistent standard for how to respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, we do not currently alter our practices based on them, though we do honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where legally required.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal or operational reasons. We'll update the "Last updated" date below when we do.

Complaints

If you have a complaint, please contact us using the details below. If you are in the EEA or UK and are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority:
EU: https://edpb.europa.eu/about-edpb/about-edpb/members_en
UK: https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/
